Stanstead Wins at Home
On Sunday November 17th UCC played their second game of the Standstead showcase against the host team, Stanstead. The first two periods of the game were tight, ending 2-1 for Stanstead. Penalties and injuries slowly wore down the team however and Stanstead added 3 goals in the 3rd to take the game 5-2.
Josh Chan was again great at the point. His power-play snipe tied the game at 1 all in the second. Matthew Sheehy also found the back of the net with help from an assist by Josh as well.
Although the team did not win their games, they still showed very well to the gathered scouts. Coming from the NHL, US colleges and Canadian professional leagues,the scouts saw what the boys could do.
