5 -2 Loss to Northwood School
The UCC blues took a 8 hour road trip to Stanstead, Quebec to play in the Standstead showcase this weekend. In the first of two games UCC faced off against Northwood School. Coming from Lake Placid, New York, Northwood have only taken 1 out of the last 5 games the teams have previously played.
On Saturday November 16th Northwood managed to bring their record vs. UCC to 4-2. Northwood manged to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities and wore the Blues down, scoring 3 goals in the third. The Blue's offense came from Anthony Dicriscio and Matthew Sheehy. The player of the game was #18 Josh Chan who was asked to play his first game on defense and shut down many of Northwood's scoring opportunities.
Jeremy Bello did his part to keep the Blues in the game and made some saves that left Northwood players scratching their heads.
