UCC and SMC Tie
This was a great game of hockey. In this back and forth game, there were 16 penalties resulting in two short handed goals, and two power play goals and a goal with an empty with less than a minute left.
The two teams traded goals this game with both teams taking and losing the lead. SMC started scoring. Matthew Sheehy scored his short handed goal with help from James Moffat and Klas Frykfeldt and made the game 1 all. SMC again took the lead to end the first. In the second, Piaget Ntakarutimana caught fire. He scored two back to back goals and gave UCC the lead. His first goal came unassisted and the second on the power-play from Edward Moskowitz and Josh Chan. SMC would tie it again before the third. In the final period Piaget Ntakarutimana again gave the team the lead and himself a hat trick with his second power-play goal, assited again from Josh Chan. With an empty net and an extra attacker SMC managed to tie the game with a minute left.
