Fall sports roundup

UCC teams had extremely successful seasons, practising with purpose and playing with determination, grit and skill.
Here are some notable highlights:
Championships
  • U14 flag football: Champions
  • U14 soccer: Champions in an undefeated season 
  • U16 volleyball: Champions in an undefeated season 
  • U16 soccer: Champions after a 0–0 tie in regulation and a 3–1 win in extra time over RSGC
  • JV football: Finished first place in the league
  • Golf: Placed 2nd as a team at OFSAA in Timmins
  • Cross-country: Two runners qualified for OFSAA in Ottawa
Outstanding Accomplishments
  • Rowing: The Fall Four placed 17th at the Head of The Charles Regatta, with our 8s also rowing in the world's largest regatta
  • Varsity hockey: Won the first CPSHA tournament at Ridley College in September; undefeated at the second CPSHA tournament in New Brunswick; undefeated at the Victoria Island Classic in November 
  • U15 hockey: Played many high-profile teams such as the LA Jr. Kings, Buffalo, Jr. Sabres, and have been invited to the prestigious Northeast Pack tournament in December
