Derek Gu ’26

A member of Scadding’s house, Derek is a member of the varsity volleyball and varsity swimming teams. He is involved within many school clubs such as the Medical Society and DECA, where he competed in the International Career Development Conference. His love for music and for playing the piano and flute led him to be part of the CISMF Concert Band and UCC’s Senior Jazz Band. In the coming year, Derek wishes to make a better impact on the UCC community through leadership in both sports and academics and hopes to get an OFSAA medal in swimming for the third year in a row.
